“When my uncle Art (living independently at the age of 97) fell ill and was hospitalized for a  couple of months his medical team identified that Art is no longer capable of living on his own or operating his vehicle.  We were informed that we need to locate an assisted living accommodation for Art. I just didn’t know where to begin or most importantly what was available here in Calgary that could meet his medical and personal needs and in addition I wanted the location to be close to my home so that I did not have to travel any long distances to assist with Art.
