I love using physiotherapy to help seniors optimize their independence and to lead fulfilling lives. One of my greatest passions as a physiotherapist is falls prevention, as a simple fall can be a life-altering event for a senior. Balance can be significantly improved with a bit of practice and guidance, and I love helping my patients feel safer on their feet. I take a functional approach with each of my clients, ensuring we are working towards goals that are personally meaningful to them. I enjoy treating patients with a range of medical conditions including stroke, Parkinson’s disease, arthritis, fractures, and joint replacements. I have completed training in dementia care and communication, and I have a special interest in helping this population stay active and mobile. Outside of work, I enjoy all things outdoors with my husband and two dogs. We can often be found hiking, camping, or skiing in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Whether you are returning home from hospital, your knees hurt while walking, or you simply want to feel more energetic and strong, physiotherapy can help you move better in all aspects of your life.
